Bowker BMW Empowers Young Golfers at Preston Golf Club
Bowker BMW has taken a significant step in promoting youth sports by signing a three-year sponsorship deal with Preston Golf Club, aiming to bolster its Junior Golf Team. This partnership extends beyond simple financial support, ensuring that golfers aged 5 to 18 receive essential coaching, competitive opportunities, and new equipment.
Currently, Preston Golf Club hosts over 100 junior members, with a vibrant community actively engaged in coaching and competitions. The support from Bowker BMW, which already sponsors a hole, buggy, and the driving range, symbolizes a commitment to nurturing the talent of young golfers in the region.
Community Involvement and Future Prospects
Jonathan Rogan, representing Bowker BMW Preston, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, acknowledging the passion and vision of Karl Ramalli, the Junior Organiser at the club. Rogan remarked, "It’s inspiring to see young players developing their skills and enjoying the game. Our aim is to support their journey over the next few years by providing them with better resources and opportunities."
This sponsorship not only benefits the golfers but also enhances community interaction by prominently featuring Bowker BMW’s branding on team apparel, signage, and various club events. Such involvement is crucial in fostering a supportive local environment for sports and youth development.
Building a Safe and Competitive Environment
Prestons Golf Club’s Junior Section ensures a safe environment for young athletes, with SafeGolf accreditation highlighting their commitment to child safeguarding. With seven internal competitions throughout the year, young players also have the chance to compete at higher levels, including regional and national championships.
This partnership is a win-win situation, allowing Bowker BMW to engage with the community while giving junior golfers the tools they need to advance their skills and pursue their passion for the sport. As the program evolves, the emphasis on youth development remains a top priority, promising a bright future for budding golfers in Preston.
